  • Keerah Yeowang: A multifaceted personality – a beauty queen, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. She is a two-time pageant title holder, having won Ms. Wisconsin 2021 and United States of America’s Ms. 2022. Keerah is the founder of Poshmetics Cosmetics, a beauty brand that aims to inspire self-confidence in women and teen girls through makeup. She’s also the director of an etiquette program, The Powder Room Finishing School, designed to equip girls with essential life skills and poise.

In 1955, at the age of 12, Doris served as vice president of the NAACP Youth Council, when Mrs. Rosa Parks was advisor to the Youth Council. After completing her degree at Clark College, she continued her community outreach in Chicago with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on the Open Housing Campaign.
  • Lottie H. Shackelford, Former Mayor of Little Rock, Arkansas. Lottie Holt Shackelford has made history throughout her impressive 40 plus years in local state and national politics. In 1987, she became the first woman elected Mayor of Little Rock, Arkansas.  Six years later, she became a Bill Clinton Presidential appointee and U.S. Senate confirmed member of the Board of Directors of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), making her the first African American woman to serve on OPIC’s Board.  She served 20 years as Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee, giving her the distinction of having the longest tenure as a Vice Chair, and is currently Vice Chair Emerita and Chair of the DNC Women’s Caucus.

  • Judge Joyce Williams Warren: Judge Joyce Williams Warren is a trailblazing figure in Arkansas’ judicial system. Born on October 25, 1949, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, she’s a retired judge who broke numerous barriers throughout her career. Her key Achievements includes: Firsts in Arkansas Judiciary: Warren was the first Black female judge in Arkansas, appointed as a juvenile court judge in January 1983. She was also the first Black person elected to a state-level trial court judgeship in Arkansas, serving the Sixth Judicial District from 1990 to 2020.
